Saxophone Suzy<\/strong> <\/i>is a 1928 Franco-German silent comedy directed by Karel Lama\u010d and starring Anny Ondra and Hans Albers. It was filmed at the Johannisthal Studios in Berlin. Carl Ludwig Kirmse served as the film\u2019s art director.<\/em><\/p>\n

It is a very dynamic comedy featuring dramatic scenes and cabaret numbers. The print has recently been restored and digitized by the Cin\u00e9math\u00e8que Fran\u00e7aise.<\/em><\/p>\n

While Anni aspires to become a famous artist, Suzy dutifully pursues her mother\u2019s dream of an artistic career, all while devoting her free time to her studies.
