After a first meeting in Brest at the Atlantic Jazz Festival in 2012, for concert of improvised music where the audience could witness the unique combination of the coppered heat of the trumpet of Philippe Champion and the percussions of Hamid Drake, it would have been diffcult to imagine that the duo would have not reform.
\nARCH program gave the opportunity to these two musicians to work a long time to a music of their own , which is made in a form of melodic dissonance, and finally to write \u00ab The Stones Song\u00bb , a record where every song is an opportunity for them to build new bridges between their two universes , achieving the feat to make an album where trumpet and drums are enough to build a rich and vibrant music.
