MUSIQUES CRÉATIVES ET VIVANTES, PAR DES MUSICIENS CRÉATIFS ET VIVANTS

BATTLEFIELD

PHOTO-CONCERT iNSPIRED BY THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE GREAT REPORTER YAN MORVAN

Three musicians passionate about photography (Edward Perraud, Vincent Courtois, Christophe Rocher) create a PHOTO-CONCERT on the images of the photographer Yan Morvan, resulting in particular from his last work “Champs de Batailles”, where he testifies of the places of battles and wars past, recent or older. It is a reflection of human matter in the midst of conflict, of the earth marked by the passage of war … and what remains.

The music is freely created by an exceptional trio of improvising musicians and composers, a major trio for a music that is both spontaneous and timeless, based largely on their own compositions.

On stage, the trio is completed by Loïc Vincent (Yann Morvan’s editor), who himself turns the pages of a photographic book, whose photos he scrolls to the rhythm of what he perceives of the music, putting in relation a music with photographs, and inviting the audience to make its own way through this musical and visual work.
